Mojang’s reality app for iOS

We all love building many stuff with blocks in Minecraft, it can be famous people, awesome buildings and pyramids. You can have as many object as possible from all the worlds of fantasy and mythology. But what happens when you want to show what you built ? Do they go in their Minecraft server to see it, or will you use your new app for iOS and iPad, called Minecraft Reality app.

Have you ever wanted to show off your Minecraft creations in the real world. The app itself uses GPS technology so you can plant your work in certain spots for people to see it.  These are some of the features:

  • View Minecraft worlds tied to reality using advanced computer vision and augmented reality.
  • Find Minecraft worlds that others have placed in locations nearby.
  • Upload your own Minecraft worlds at MinecraftReality.com.
  • Share screenshots of Minecraft worlds in reality to Facebook and Twitter.

We look forward seeing the community around the app develop itself, we can see that Minecraft is being more and more popular day by day, and we from Mod Loader are happy about it.

1.4.5 prelease for Minecraft available

Even though it has nothing much to do with TFC mod manager it is still important to us players to keep track of updates for our Minecraft. Mod Loader which we like to call it mostly is still available for download, which is done in less than a minute, all files are working and legit, even tough some sites don’t offer an real download any more, like broken links or something, or missing files on Dropbox.

If you experienced broken LAN server functionality than this patch is certainly coming for you with a smile, it’s just that Minecraft needed to be patched again, even tough the developers weren’t expecting it. There is a good thing about this, and it’s that it affects only Client, not the servers so you will be able to play on servers with older version, also uploading and managing mods will still stay the same with TFC.

  • Clients now get the correct IP for LAN servers
  • Fixed the incorrect positions of some particles
  • … and fixes for MC-2507 (Entering IPv6 servers crashes the client), MC-2508 (Last page of /help missing), MC-2500 (Spawning baby villagers creates farmer baby villagers only), and MC-2498 (Spawning baby wolves from wild ones)

Those are some of the fixes that are coming now and we sure prepared our Client for update.

8 million copies sold and counting

Some game just keep selling like hot cakes around PC gaming platform, like Sims. You maybe heard of them and their content packs that came later like Vampires and such, which makes them some extra money. But on the other side we have Mojang, an indie developer company which has a main game Minecraft that sold more then 8 million copies worldwide on PC and Mac. Exact number is 8,000,139, since we want everything to be official like our Mod Loader which you can get from our site easily by downloading.

A reply about this from the leading heads came on Twitter: “I can’t think of anything clever to say. It’s simply amazing,”. While Notch gave some code full of numbers and letters, maybe it has something to do with Windows 8, since he really likes to bash at it mostly without any backup.

So since Minecraft sales go up, so to the downloads for TFC mod manager, a lot of people still load up their mods, download them on various forums for their game. Building blocks have never been so easy and fun, also creative which is mostly why it’s so popular online as a video game.

 

Patch is also coming for Pocket Version

Pocket version of Minecraft has also been a huge succes, not only the PC version had huge profit. But hey when you look at it Minecraft is overall a huge success, doesn’t matter what platforms it will sell millions. So updating the game is required for it’s players database to keep satisfied, just like updating the TFC mod manager, or MCMODDR which is a new name for it. So what is new in this patch/update ? A lot of stuff actually, one that is really keen on for some players are the zombies ! Be careful now, you don’t wanna get infected, doesn’t matter which mod. Here are some new features that await you next time you start your game on Android or iOS.

  • Paintings
  • Mushroom farming
  • Melons
  • Zombie pigmen
  • Nether Reactor
  • Glowstone

There have been some minor tweaks done in this patch like Restoring hearts when sleeping in bed and food giving you more health now which makes sense to us. Tweaked the fog to make the game less foggy and it’s is now easier to get out a bed for all you lazy all day sleepers out there! There are also around 30 bug fixes for this version, but we won’t get into that so much.
