Skin pack on Xbox 360, are mods going to come ?

Mojang decided to celebrate the anniversary that Minecraft has now been downloaded over 2 million times in the four days since its release, with Skin pack they made their debut anniversary.

Sounds pretty cool to us, free skins for gamers which you could only see on PC’s and Mac’s before, you can see console version is going step by step to full computer game. There is one thing they miss, and that is Mods. While moderators have work to do on computers for the players sometimes they also have a console audience but they aren’t able to approach it, not yet atleast. Maybe sometimes in future we see mods coming on to consoles too.

Avatar’s appearance is a important factor to many player in Minecraft, you are recognized by it and you get into your character more easily since you got a different look that other gamers.

Bioshock Infinite in Minecraft

You may have heard about this game that come out recently, they say it’s not pretty bad for an FPS. Just kidding, it’s skyrocketing in reviews from critics and the fans from around the world, sales are also doing good, but the big shame is only 5% fell to PC market, while Xbox gained around 56% of sales, at least for now.

It’s only mater of time until someone made this into a Minecraft game, we are guessing without any mods but that’s ok, it’s maybe even more better cause of it since it is done with their hands only. Looks awesome doesn’t it ? This is just one of the cooler things people have built over time in this fantastic game by Mojang, but this one is one of my personal favorites.  We hope Booker get’s along fine in this new blocky Bioshock world.

Patch is also coming for Pocket Version

Pocket version of Minecraft has also been a huge succes, not only the PC version had huge profit. But hey when you look at it Minecraft is overall a huge success, doesn’t matter what platforms it will sell millions. So updating the game is required for it’s players database to keep satisfied, just like updating the TFC mod manager, or MCMODDR which is a new name for it. So what is new in this patch/update ? A lot of stuff actually, one that is really keen on for some players are the zombies ! Be careful now, you don’t wanna get infected, doesn’t matter which mod. Here are some new features that await you next time you start your game on Android or iOS.

  • Paintings
  • Mushroom farming
  • Melons
  • Zombie pigmen
  • Nether Reactor
  • Glowstone

There have been some minor tweaks done in this patch like Restoring hearts when sleeping in bed and food giving you more health now which makes sense to us. Tweaked the fog to make the game less foggy and it’s is now easier to get out a bed for all you lazy all day sleepers out there! There are also around 30 bug fixes for this version, but we won’t get into that so much.

Minecraft – Pocket Edition gets an update

While most of us enjoy playing Minecraft on PC’s and consoles (Xbox 360) some people just don’t like to leave Minecraft world so they go on their smartphone and play right in the game. Mobile version of this world open world game doesn’t really have mods, with which one we use Mod Loader but it’s still great experience.

Pocket edition with chestsPocket edition with chests

More elements from the core game have been added. Chests, food and beds are now included in a latest major update for this version of the game, which costs around 5 dollars or free on Android. More than 20 bugs have been fixed and now you can enjoy even more the whole experience when you are on your way to work or going home and relaxing while building some farms in front of your house.

We all remember how was an alpha version of original PC game, it didn’t even have half of the stuff it has now, and it’s working fine right now, so is it possible to see something like that on a mobile version too, will it grow out even more and we won’t call it a secondary minecraft or just an pocket edition which you can play if you don’t have an access to your game on computer.

Installing Mod Loader

After you download TFC from this website you will probably want to go straight ahead and install it on your Windows computer or Mac. Using Windows 7 makes all this easier to install. The next 10 steps should make you resolve your whole problems about it and Minecraft should work without hiccups and glitches like sometimes it can, especially before full release.

  1. Download the mod you want to install
  2. Get TFC mod manager from this website
  3. Type in %appdata%
  4. Go to .minecraft / bin
  5. Open Minecraft.jar
  6. Delete the META INF folder
  7. Drag in the ModLoader files
  8. Open Minecraft to test
  9. Drag the mod files into Minecraft.jar
  10. Close everything and open Minecraft and enjoy

That should be it, it should work on every operating system, Windows or Mac doesn’t matter, but of course for mac you will need to find for yourself the folders and stuff, since 90% of players are using Windows it wasn’t a must to add the info about it. After 1.3 update there will be no side effects as we hope since that’s what we are looking for in this kind of game, progress updates and we make the gameplay than.

Few things that we would like to add to TFC

MCMODDR or more fan called TFC mod manager is already pretty much good enough for us and serves the purpose on every level, but nothing is pefect and we would really like to see some new stuff like the ones we are gonna talk about here.

Backing up mods for Minecraft

A backup button! What would be wrong with that if you add it in and give us the choice of backing up mods and configurations or settings for each one we would like to add. Something like ” Creates a backup of your entire minecraft folder and puts it in a new folder (in the installation directory) named BACKUP ”

Just walking around in Minecraft

Just walking around in Minecraft

Undo button, another button, yes we like buttons but what can we do it’s just one of those moments when you rage about modding and stuff and you don’t have an UNDO button near you to fix the mistake you did in the present, or past. “Somehow have the program create a very quick backup before installing a mod. For instance, it could make a good backup of the Minecraft.jar right before it places files from there and saves it as something else (such as MinecraftBU01.jar in another location) ”

When we speak about undoing there should be some kind of RE DO but hey we are not so demanding we would like and good new thing or a change for this app to happen when you download it.

The good and bad sides of TFC

TFC, the good old Minecraft Mod Manager or sometimes called Mod Loader isn’t perfect, as if there were a perfect thing there would be no need for longer living anymore. We all strive for perfection, even gamers.  But when it comes to TFC it’s pretty much really different from perfect but also far from bad.

One thing to keep in mind is that it’s FREE for everyone, the download of the exe file and config mod files is really downloadable with no extra cost expect from the downloading when you fill out some info, but that’s also with no charge. What is there more to look forward in future updates from Mod Loader and it’s creators who share it like it’s ice cream on the land of ice if we can use that kind of term which we pretty much like.

Windows operating system is something we should look at when we use the loader since the OS sometimes has side effects with it as it comes down to software and hardware as it always has been, where ever it is Macintosh from Apple or Windows from Microsoft. And Windows 8 is something we can expect to get with a lot of bugs which make it like an error or something like DX or DLL problems, maybe even with .NET microsoft pack on x86 and x64.

What’s next for Minecraft

From alpha to beta, from beta to full game which has sold more than 4 million copies sounds like an job good done by an indie developer you know as Notch. As you already maybe found out Notch is not the lead in Minecraft anymore since he has some new project, like the game Scrolls which sounds creative just like his game that made him so popular and rich (let’s not forget what paypal did to poor Notch for a month). So after so many copies being sold and updates being downloaded is the Scrolls really what’s next for Minecraft players or is our game gonna stay at the top of the gaming scene on PC and Macintosh.

Minecraft future lies in their handsMinecraft future lies in their hands

The developers behind current game and the upcoming one that we mentioned before for our games, The Scrolls is actually in the hands of this guys who do everything in a relaxed way without any problems or concerns from the forum lovers and fans which post daily many thing that they would like to see be a part of the game, or something like a mod on which we are getting around all the time.

What is left to us, not so less important players is pretty much everything as we are the one who decide what game to buy and review it by our user score as we want it. We look forward in seeing MOJANG doing new things which will keep us locked in to our computers all day.

Mod Loader in new looks

MCMODDR, TFC mod manager and Mod Loader. There are many names for such a good program to run with Minecraft so it’s not unusual that it has multiple names by fans around the internet. When we say fans we mean the guys from forums and inter webs like reddit or even 4chan( which we don’t recommend here). Our websites is one unique website which offers a downloadable Mod Loader for the players with no hiccups or traps. Even thought the original creator did setup something, we find this website to be more easy to navigate to.

Mod Loader for MinecraftMod Loader at it’s best

We would like to say a big sorry about the past download’s cause the website of the source file/exe has been offline, so you would get like an INDEX NOT FOUND error message, but it’s back working online and it’s never been better for all of ass who use Windows computers (XP, Vista, 7 and 8) and Macintosh, maybe even not so known Linux GUI or more popular uBuntu. It should probably work for all of those operating system as we know of them.

MOD Loader equals TFC

What we have yet to seen how will it go with the numerous updates that we expect to come wit other new stuff for us to mod and program at least as we know that it isn’t so hard in lately. Just downloading TFC mod manager is easy as stealing candy from the baby, just clicking on the link and filling out some simple information and then downloading the exe which we need for it to work.

TFC(mcmoddr) on Windows 8 ?

While there have been many versions of operating system within years and years and programs and apps have worked on multiple ones, Minecraft does, but that’s a game. Can than a Windows 8 OS fully support TFC mod manager, or otherwise is a unanswered question.

Windows 8 on desktop computer

Windows 8 on desktop computer

Windows 8 will be popular, same with TFC

With the newest tablet on the whole world, Microsoft Surface a lot of wondering and speculations have come up, with the more and more questions by the popular gamers and users who use the program, download it and go with it to install and change the mods in Minecraft which we all kind of live for, since the game since Notch has stepped down as the lead role in the game has been in kind of an stagnation. Windows 8 promises to work on all computers and tablets without any conflicts but we are not sure how much will that go with the TFC mod manager or as we like to call it MCMODDR which is kind of a new age thing for the newest users.

The strongest will sustain same with the games and apps for the mods and the modder’s which make it with them.  Such a good way to test out system and the app itself.
